During the early 1990s, she started working at\u00a0TVQ-10,\u00a0Brisbane as a reporter and presenter. She debuted nationally in 1993 when she became the presenter on\u00a0Ten Eyewitness News at Network Ten\u2019s Brisbane studio. In 1994 she joined TEN-10 to become the lead presenter of\u00a0Ten News First at Five. During 1997, she joined as a presenter at BBC World News & later moved to CNN International. In 2003, upon returning to Australia she joined ABC News NSW\u00a0as co-anchor; but later became solo-presenter. During 2007 she started writing articles for The Bulletin.
