Sullivan Stapleton is an Australian TV and film actor who has been present in the industry since 1994. He is the most famous for his role in NBC\u2019s crime drama Blindspot<\/em>, premiered in 2015 and for Greek Leader Themistocles in 300: Rise of an Empire<\/em> (2014).<\/p>\n

Sullivan was born in Melbourne on 14th<\/sup> June, 1977. He was 8 and his sister, Jacinta Stapleton was 6 when they joined acting and modelling agency. Later on, their brother also followed their footsteps in the same. He received his training at Melbourne\u2019s St. Martin\u2019s Theatre and then studied drama and theatre at Sandringham Secondary College in Sandringham, Victoria.<\/p>\n

He started his career at a young age of 9. He started appearing in ads at 11 and appeared for the first time on screen in 1994 in Australian TV-Movie Baby Bath Massacre<\/em> as Adrian. He kept working on and off the screen as model, crew member and cleaner at shops to keep his finances running.<\/p>\n

He got his first big role in 1998 on Neighbours<\/em> as Josh Hughes. Appeared as Justin Davis from 2003-05 in The Secret Life of Us<\/em>, in the movie December Boys<\/em> (2007), as Agent Wilkins in The Condemned<\/em> and in 2010, his breakthrough came in after doing Animal Kingdom<\/em>. It won Grand Jury Award at Sundance film Festival which made in global personality. He then acted in Australian crime drama series in a lead role in Underbelly Flies: Infiltration<\/em> as Colin McLaren.<\/p>\n

In 2014, he met with an accident in Thailand and went in coma. He recovered from it after 6 months.<\/p>\n
