David Wenham is an Australian actor born on 21 September, 1965 in Marrickville, Sydney. He acts in theatres, TV series and film productions and known for his roles of Faramir in The Lord of The Rings trilogy<\/em>, Carl in Van Helsing<\/em> and Dilios in 300<\/em> and its sequel.<\/p>\n David was born to Kath and Bill Wenham and has 6 siblings, 1 brother and 5 sisters, all older. He attended Christian Brothers\u2019 High School in Lewisham. He graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Theatre Nepean at University of Western Sydney.<\/p>\n Wenham after graduating did TV series in 1996, Simone de Beauvoir’s Babies <\/em>and in SeaChange<\/em> in 1998 and \u201999. In 1998, he starred in the movie The Boys<\/em> based on the play of same name, The Bank<\/em> (2001), Molokai<\/em> (1999), Getting\u2019 Square<\/em> (2003), Three Dollars<\/em> (2003) and The Lord of the Rings<\/em> etc.<\/p>\n
