The R.M.Williams Company was established and built up in 1932 by Australian legend, Reginald Murray RM Williams. In the mid – the 1930s, RM met a thin, wiry and brilliant individual named Dollar Mick.
RM at that time was staying in South Australia’s Gammon Ranges where he was scarcely bringing home the bacon for his young family, sinking wells and doing odd employments on encompassing stations. His fortune turned when Dollar Mick touched base at his campground, driving a feeble carriage drawn by two donkeys. There was an age crevice of nearly 30 years between the two men however they developed a mind-blowing partnership.
