Natalie Imbruglia, a popular Australian singer-songwriter, model and actress, was born on 4 February 1975, in Sydney, Australia to Maxene and Elliot Imbruglia. She moved to Sydney with her family at the age of 15 and studied ballet, tap and highland dancing. She dropped out of school at the age of 16 to pursue acting.
At the age of 17, she started acting in the Australian soap opera Neighbours (1985) & acted for more than 2 years & started her singing career with her successful hit cover of Ednaswap’s song, “Torn”. Her other releases include Left of the Middle (1997), White Lilies Island (2001), Counting Down the Days (2005), a hits compilation, Glorious: The Singles 97–07 (2007), Come To Life (2009) etc. Imbruglia has seen a record sale of 10 million records worldwide and received several awards, including eight ARIA Awards, two Brit Awards, one Billboard Music Award and three Grammy nominations.
In addition to her singing career, Imbruglia has performed in a number of films such as Johnny English (2003), Closed for Winter (2009) etc. She has also modeled for various brands.
