  1. Please stop selling ROUNDUP ~ GLYSOPHATE!
The most recent research into this herbicide is showing just how toxic it is.
It can now be found not only in our soil but in our water, our food, our homes and in our bodies…….and of course the bodies of our children our pets and other creatures.
ROUNDUP IS CARCINOGENIC! This is no small problem.
BURNINGS YOU COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE, you could be the first distributer to make a stand by not stocking this terrible poison.
Make a stand for our children, our insects ( particularly our bee’s ), and for our planet.
YOUR VOICE COULD BE THAT CHANGE!
Thank you for reading this comment.

  2. Thank you Eugene for taking the stands. ROUNDUP IS CARCINOGENIC!!. I hope Bunnings will take note of this and not stock up on this insidious herbicide. There are many natural and safe herbicides on the market these days.

  3. I would like to nominate a young man- named Tom -from the Mittagong Bunnings Store/NSW to be given appreciation for his incredible Customer Service. Tom has an effervescent & respectful character and conducts DIY Workshops. He cleverly attends to your needs whilst selling Bunnings products. He is unusual -different. He deserves to be rewarded by your team.

  4. Visited the Maibyrnong store 28 Nov , the girl on the order desk could do with customer service lessons , ignored me and others completely . Staff didnt know the product I was looking for is no longer available . Then looking for different item in other area I met a younger staff and most pleasent girl TAMARA ,she was very respectful , and assisted me to the end .Please commend and reward her its people like her that could make the difference for you

  5. I went into Devonport store today to buy a chrome shelving unit which is on the website, I was told they do not have room to stock all products and that if I wanted one I had to go to Burnie or Launceston because they do not carry that particular shelving in that store, they can not order one in, yet there are 60 between Burnie and Launceston. I am a business owner and do not have time to be running around to do so. 2 hours it would take me either way. What is wrong with stock transfers if a customer requires a product???? Where has good old customer service gone????

  6. DEAR SIR / MADAM
AS A RETIRED DOCTOR I HAVE HEAPS OF SPARE TIME TO VISIT MY LOCAL BUNNING STORE [INNISFAIL] I HAVE NOTICED ON MY LAST FEW VISITS THAT STAFF ARE CRYING AND UP SET SO I HAVE ASKED SOME STAFF THERE WHAT IS WRONG THEY DON’T SAY MUCH BUT WHEN I ASK AROUND THE COMMUNITY IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MANAGEMENT BULLYING AND SO ON YOU HAVE TO LOOK INTO THIS AS IT IS A SERIOUS THING WITH MENTAL HEALTH I WILL STAY OMINOUS FOR NOW BUT WILL MONITOR THE SITUATION AS I HAVE TO. I HAVE ALSO PAST THIS ON WESFARMERS THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS.
    REGARDS DR WORHJAY.

  7. What a crock of unhappy customers at your Maitland store today. First off I could not find anyone in electrical to serve and advise me, after waking around I finally found two staff discussing private matters which after a short time they interrupted their talk to ask what I wanted. One of these finally wnt with me to the electrical to see if there was more of the product I required. Could not find it and said come back tomorrow. Highly unlikely. Then to the checkout, checkout one closed and blocked with trolleys. Plenty of self serve but only cash money sales point was the service desk. Too many people, the lady on the checkout in power tools asked me to come down so she could serve me, which I did and she provided a pleasant service.
I was told by store management that checkout one would always be attended, however it does not seem as if it is attended except at weekends.
If this is Bunnings idea of service then you need to think again. The best thing about Masters when they were here was they kept Bunnings on their toes both pricewise and service wise. Both now seem to be a thing of the past. I have never heard so many complaints from people about a store as I have about Bunnings in Maitland. I now shop whenever possible at Stratco Thornton, a little bit further but a lot more customer user friendly.

  8. Absolutely fed-up after a wild goose chase around north Brisbane to find Wrap & Move HEAVY DUTY 104L packing boxes during a two-week period. Then today I phone Stafford who are ‘sitting’ with 300 in stock! Why no stock in Brendale, Carseldine, Lawnton, or Keperra????? Surely there is a plan in place for stocked-up stores to pass on their excess stock to those busy stores in need?

And while I’m about it, I have lost TWO dogs to snail bait poisoning that the previous owner had stored away in a little-used shed which we completely overlooked after moving in. Have you any idea what a terrible, slow death snail bait inflicts on our domestic animals and wildlife? This stuff cooks the brain – literally fries it on the inside!! I have watched seemingly healthy-looking birds of prey suddenly drop out of the sky and into my yard as a consequence of ingesting something that had also eaten snail bait and subsequently died as a result thereof. PLEASE USE SIGNAGE TO WARN CUSTOMERS THAT THIS PRODUCT KILLS DOMESTIC ANIMALS, WILDLIFE AND POTENTIALLY YOUNG CHILDREN! Better still, why not REMOVE IT COMPLETELY FROM YOUR SHELVES! There are more eco-friendly ways to deal with snails than resorting to the “big guns” in our backyards. For goodness’ sake, the world has moved on!
