2 years ago I bought a Breville Kettle BKE720 from David Jones in Perth City. After almost a year the temperature control started going wrong and it would randomly turn itself off. Last January, I took it back to DJ and they replaced it without hesitation, but since there was no payment made, I don’t have any paperwork. After some months, the second kettle stated going wrong, making unexplained beeping noises and switching itself off.
This second kettle would be out of guarantee in Jan 2017, but I feel that there is a huge problem with these variable temp kettles. I would like a new, plain, boil-water only kettle that I can rely on. (Incidentally, my daughter owns a different brand which does exactly the same thin, but that’s another story).

Dear Breville..I know my warranty would be out of date by now..as I have owned my slow cooker for about 5 years now..I did love how it went from the stove top to the slow cooker insert and could be used in the oven up to 200 °c..but I’m very sad now as the lid exploded whilst cooking my Sunday roast ? .
1/12/17 my wife and I bought a Breville smart oven from Harvey Norman Gateshead NSW. Took it home and turned it on lasted about 5 minutes before a warning that the oven had suffered a eos fault. After ringing the customer help line we where advised to take it back. We picked up another one but to our amazement this one did the same after about an hour. Very disappointed because we had one that lasted for years before we replaced it.
My slow fast cooker just blew up! Not a happy Customer! Have a crime scene to clean up now … could say a lot more … but would like to be contacted by a customer service ASAP!
I purchased my Breville jug ( BKE830 /A ) two to 3 years ago and after about 12 months the lid kept coming up when it is nearing boiling point, I returned it to Harvey Norman Toowoomba who replaced it immediately, now the replacement jug is doing exactly the same thing. My kitchen is filled with Breville appliances as I consider them to be a quality product, but there must be a fault in this product for the same problem to occur in two appliances, after approximately the same time period.
Would like to know how we resolve this issue.
